In this 3-day camp, ex bomb disposal officers and mental resilience coaches will put your Body, Mind, and Leadership through the ultimate stress test—so you can finally prove to yourself what you're capable of.
I didn't spend years defusing bombs, training soldiers, and grinding through brutal endurance to watch you settle for "comfortable growth."
This ain't a retreat. This ain't therapy. This ain't you journaling in a cute notebook by the sea.
This is a test.
You'll face physical work, uncertainty, fatigue, and stress — long enough that your excuses stop working.
And then we train the thing that changes everything: control. Not "positive thinking." Not "mindset tips." Real control when your brain starts screaming for comfort.
When you finish, you won't be "inspired." You'll be dangerous in the best way:
Calm under pressure. Clear in chaos. Unbreakable when it counts.
Arete (Ancient Greek: ἀρετή) is the realization of one's highest potential, or as we like to call it… hitting your absolute peak. And let me tell you something:
Unbreakable Mind Arete is a premium, in-person event for people who are sick of slow progress and tired of living inside their own limits. Small group. High standards. Real coaching.
There is you before Arete. And there is the version of you after…
…who KNOWS what they do under stress — because they've been there.
No hand-holding. No excuses. Just you… the pressure… and the truth.
You've been lied to. They told you: "If it's uncomfortable, it must be making you grow."
Bullsh*t.
You can do hard things every day and stay exactly the same… because nothing unknown is being asked of you. No uncertainty. No pressure. No moment where your plan collapses and you have to adapt.
Real growth lives in the unknown.
When you can't control the conditions. When the noise gets loud. When you want out. ARETÉ isn't "more discomfort." It's crossing into the unknown… getting tested… and coming back changed.
Think you've lost your edge? Workouts inconsistent? Motivation gone to crap? This is for you! It's tough as nails, but doable if you've got a heartbeat and the will to fight. We'll rebuild your foundation, kick doubt in the teeth, and remind you that you still got it! If you've never done long endurance stuff — this is your lane!
You think you're tough? You think you've trained hard? Let's see! Built for the animals who've already been through hell and want MORE! We'll push you deeper into fatigue than you've ever been, test you under pressure that'd make most people fold, and sharpen you into a damn weapon! If you've crushed ultradistance or multi-day events — step up!
We'll work you till your muscles scream and your lungs burn — not to break you, but to show you how strong you really are! Your body is your vehicle. Strong body = options. Weak body = excuses. You'll leave knowing exactly how much more you can do than you thought.
Positivity is for people who ain't ready to fight! We're talking real control — breathwork, visualization, keeping your head straight when panic wants to take over! When the noise in your head gets loud, you'll know how to shut it down!
You think you're a leader? Prove it. When stress hits and everything goes sideways, we'll see how you communicate, how you ask for help, how you stay useful when others wobble. Pressure reveals everything. You don't leave hoping you're capable. You leave knowing — because you proved it.
Here's how your life will change after you finish your Arete:
This stays with you long after the weekend ends.
By design, the exact ARETE schedule is not shared in advance. What we can share is the structure of the weekend—so you know what kind of experience you're stepping into.
You arrive, meet the group, and get oriented. We set expectations, review safety protocols, and make sure everyone is prepared—mentally and logistically.
You'll train Body, Mind, and Team through controlled challenges involving fatigue, stress, uncertainty and pressure. You will be tested. You will see exactly how you react when it gets hard. And you will practice regaining control while you're in it.
Exact details are not shared in advance. Good. What matters is this: you leave Saturday knowing more about yourself than most people ever will.
Sunday morning is about making the experience stick. We slow things down. You recover, reflect, and connect the dots—what happened, what you noticed, and how it applies to your life outside the camp. This is where insight turns into life-long change.
You earned it. We acknowledge the work you put in, the standard you met, and what you proved. Certifications and prizes handed over. You leave tired. And proud.
Instead of heading straight home, you can join us at a local hotel for a proper reset. We'll spend the afternoon recovering together—food, rest, downtime, light movement, and a calm decompression after the weekend. Nothing intense. Just a gift to yourself for leveling up as a human!
Good. That's where growth lives.
Discover what you're REALLY capable of (psst… you'll be surprised).

If you're worried you “won't be ready,” you're exactly who this is for. We teach every technical skill during the weekend and coach you through it step by step. Your job is to show up healthy, injury-free, and ready to work.
If you're accepted, you won't be left to “figure it out.” You'll start an on-ramp training plan before the event so you arrive with the physical capacity needed to train safely and get the full benefit. And we'll be direct: if we believe you're not physically able to complete ARETE safely, we won't offer you a spot. This protects you, the group, and the standards of the event.
Yes—safety is our top priority. The UM team brings over 50 years of combined experience running this type of training. Every block is planned, supervised, and delivered to the highest safety standards in the industry. Participation is always voluntary. You can opt out or step back at any moment if something doesn't feel right—no questions asked. Challenges are controlled, coached, and adapted to the environment and the group so you're pushed to grow, not put at risk.
You're always in control. You're free to opt out of any challenge at any time. In fact, that choice is a core part of the training—learning to make clear decisions under pressure instead of pushing blindly. We'll only step in and remove you from an activity if there's a risk to your health or the safety of you or others. One important note: To receive your certificate and finisher status, you must complete all required challenges.
You will be provided with hydration, food and very simple lodging during your event. Everyone gets: Unbreakable Mind Swag. Finishers get: Certificate of completion.
There are minimum physical and recovery standards required to participate in ARETE: RESET. These standards exist for one reason: safety and quality of learning. If you do not meet the minimum capacity requirements, you will be reassigned to ARETE: RESET. This is not a punishment or a failure—it's a decision made to ensure you can train effectively, stay clear under fatigue, and leave the weekend stronger, not wrecked. ARETE: NEXT LEVEL has recommended fitness guidelines, but not meeting them will not disqualify you. The focus at this level is exposure, learning, and recovery—not endurance capacity.
Events are held at Malaga, Spain. Málaga, located on Spain's Costa del Sol (sun coast), is a vibrant Andalusian city with 2,800 years of history, blending Roman, Moorish, and modern cultures. Location subject to change in the greater Malaga area.
You can transfer your spot to a future UM event. Life happens, and we'll do our best to accommodate date changes when possible. If you need to reschedule, you can move your registration up to 48 hours before the event start time by paying a transfer fee (subject to availability).
